Order [non-document]: On April 18, 2025, Plaintiff filed a Motion for Leave to Amend his Complaint ("Motion") (Doc. No. #3 .) Therein, Plaintiff requested leave to file an Amended Complaint. (Id.) Pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 15, a party may amend its pleading once as a matter of course no later than: (i) 21 days after serving it; or (ii) if the pleading is one to which a responsive pleading is required, 21 days after service of a responsive pleading or 21 days after service of a motion under Rule 12(b), (e), or (f), whichever is earlier. See Fed. R. Civ. P. 15(a)(1)(A)-(B). In this case, Plaintiff has not yet served his Complaint, nor has any responsive pleading or Rule 12 motion been filed. Thus, Plaintiff does not need to seek leave from this Court to amend his Complaint and may file his Amended Complaint once as a matter of course. Accordingly, because Plaintiff need not seek leave from this Court, Plaintiff's Motion is denied as moot. Plaintiff may file his Amended Complaint on the docket upon receipt of this Order.
