CLOSED TRANSFER to SOUTHERN DISTRICT OF OHIO, WESTERN DIVISION AT DAYTON - Plaintiff Warren Easterling filed a complaint challenging the constitutionality of an Ohio statute. Dkt. 1. Mr. Easterling's complaint names two defendants--Ohio Governor Mike Dewine and Ohio state judge, Thomas Rose. Id. at 3-4. According to the complaint, Mr. Dewine resides in Columbus, Ohio, and Judge Rose lives in Dayton, Ohio. Id. Mr. Easterling was ordered to show cause by August 24, 2022, why this case should not be transferred to the Southern District of Ohio. Dkt. 8. That deadline has passed without a response from Mr. Easterling. Based on the foregoing, this action is transferred to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, Western Division at Dayton. The pending motion in this case remains pending for disposition by the Southern District of Ohio. The clerk is directed to terminate the pending motion on this docket.
