***Clerk's Notice of delivery: (see NEF for details) Docket No:3. Thu Feb 8 09:51:45 CST 2024 (crt) |
Filing 3 ORDER:The court now determines that this action should be dismissed without prejudice for Mr. Mason's failure to comply with a prefiling injunction. On 12/8/2023, a court in this district declared Mr. Mason a vexatious litigant due to his prolific filing history and "permanently enjoined" him from "filing or prosecuting any civil action in this district without first receiving permission from the forum court." Mr. Mason, therefore, must meet these requirements before filing a new civil action in this district. Mr. Mason, however, has not obtained the court's permission before filing suit or met any of the specific prefiling requirements. Accordingly, this action is dismissed without prejudice to Mason's ability to refile in compliance with the prefiling injunction against him. (Ordered by Judge Sam A. Lindsay on 2/7/2024) (ykp) |
