Filing 8 ELECTRONIC ORDER: In 2023, as a result of his vexatious and abusive filing history, the Court barred Plaintiff Terrance Turner from filing actions in forma pauperis in this or other federal court, without first seeking leave of court to do so. See Turner v. Trugreen Ltd. PShip, No. 3:23-CV-989-G-BK (N.D. Tex. May 11, 2023). On March 12, 2024, Plaintiff filed two new actions in this Court, Case Nos. 3:24-cv-00648-K-BK and 3:24-cv-00668-K-BK. In the latter action, he also e-filed a request for Warrant for the Arrest of a Witness in a Civil Action. On March 21, 2024, the Clerk of the Court administratively closed both cases based on the 2023 sanction order. In order to enforce the Court's filing bar, the Court now directs the Clerk of the Court to REVOKE Turner's electronic filing privileges. (Ordered by Magistrate Judge Renee Harris Toliver on 3/22/2024) (chmb) |
Filing 7 Notice that the clerk has been instructed to apply the attached sanction order to the submissions indexed under number: 3:24-cv-00648-K-BK. The sanction order was originally filed in: 3:23-cv-00989-G-BK and states: The plaintiff is BARRED from filing future actions in forma pauperis in this or any other federal court, without first obtaining leave of court to do so, and any case filed, removed, or transferred without the applicable filing fee, in which he is the plaintiff, should not be reviewed by the court. That order prohibits the filing of a case, so the number assigned to this closed matter remains for indexing purposes only. (twd) |
