Filing 5 Order Severing Civil-Rights Claims and Transferring Habeas Petition. As explained in this Order, the Court finds that Petitioner's civil-rights claims should be severed from the habeas action. Also, the Court finds that the habeas petition must be transferred to the Fort Worth Division of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas. Finally, the civil-rights claims will remain here, but Petitioner will be required to file an amended complaint on the form required for prisoner civil-rights complaints. The Court finds that in the interests of justice and judicial economy, the Petition-not including the severed civil-rights claims-should be transferred to the district where Petitioner was convicted and sentenced. The Court, then directs the Clerk to transfer the petition with the application to proceed in forma pauperis pending to the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, Fort Worth Division.
