Filing 9 ORDER: On September 18, 2018, the Court ordered Plaintiff to, by October 18, 2018, either submit an application to proceed in forma pauperis or pay the filing fee in this case #6 . Plaintiff has failed to comply. The Court has not heard from Plaintiff since entry of the September 28, 2018, order. The Court warned Plaintiff that if he failed to comply, this case would be dismissed. Accordingly, this case is dismissed without prejudice. See N.D. Ill. Local Rule 3.3(e); Election Commn v. Al Salvi for Senate Comm., 205 F.3d 1015, 1018 (7th Cir. 2000) (a court has authority, both inherently and under Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 41(b), to dismiss a case as a sanction for failure to prosecute and noncompliance with a court order).
