ORDER SCREENING SHORT FORM COMPLAINT AND DIRECTING FURTHER PROCEEDINGS - This civil action relates to Jackson et al. v. Reagle et al., No. 1:21-cv-03120-JPH-KMB (Lead Action). Both cases arise out of the Plaintiffs' alleged exposure to unsafe water at Pendleton Correctional Facility. Counsel initiated this action on behalf of twenty-three (23) Plaintiffs by filing a Short Form Complaint that followed a Master Amended Complaint filed by counsel in the Lead Action. Because Plaintiffs are incarcerated persons, the Court has an obligation to screen the Short Form Complaint. Plaintiffs' Short Form Complaint in this case SHALL PROCEED against all Defendants as submitted: (See Order.) Plaintiffs are reminded that all filings must be filed by their counsel.
