Filing 5 District Judge Timothy S. Hillman: ORDER entered. ORDER DISMISSING CASE.(Castles, Martin) |
Filing 4 District Judge Timothy S. Hillman: ELECTRONIC ORDER entered. This action is hereby DISMISSED without prejudice for plaintiff's failure to comply with the Court's June 22, 2021 Order (ECF No. 3). On June 22, 2021, the Court ordered that by July 16, 2021, the plaintiff: (1) file an amended complaint that complied with the basic pleading requirements of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, and (2) pay the $402 filing fee or seek leave to proceed in forma pauperis. Nothing further has been filed. The Clerk is directed to enter as separate order of dismissal.(Castles, Martin) |
Filing 3 District Judge Timothy S. Hillman: ELECTRONIC ORDER ENTERED The Court is in receipt of a June 1, 2021 letter from Gerald Jones to the Criminal Clerk of this Court. The Clerk assigned a civil docket number for convenience, but it is unclear why Jones is contacting the Clerk of this Court. To the extent that Jones appears to seek to report purported criminal activity, this Court does not initiate criminal matters. In any event, it appears from the letter that Jones has sent a copy of the letter to the Department of Justice and the Worcester Police Department. To the extent that Jones is seeking to initiate a civil action (the merits of which the Court takes no position) he shall by July 16, 2021: (1) file a complaint that complies with the basic pleading requirements of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure; and (2) either pay the $402 filing and administrative fee or seek leave to proceed in forma pauperis. The Clerk shall provide Jones with a form AO 240. No further action will be taken on Joness letter. Failure to comply with this Order will likely result in dismissal of this action without prejudice. re #1 Complaint filed by Gerald Jones. (Jones, Sherry) |
Filing 2 ELECTRONIC NOTICE of Case Assignment. District Judge Timothy S. Hillman assigned to case. If the trial Judge issues an Order of Reference of any matter in this case to a Magistrate Judge, the matter will be transmitted to Magistrate Judge David H. Hennessy. (Burgos, Sandra) |
Filing 1 COMPLAINT against All Defendants, filed by Gerald Jones. (Attachments: #1 Exhibit)(Burgos, Sandra) |
