TEXT ORDER: Before the Court is Plaintiff's Motion to Remand this case to state court (ECF No. #6 ). To resolve the motion, the Court must first determine whether complete diversity exists between the Plaintiff and Defendants. To date, Plaintiff has been unable to serve Defendant Bell. Once the 90 days to serve the complaint lapsed, this Court ordered Plaintiff to show cause why this case should not be dismissed against Defendant Bell for lack of prosecution. Plaintiff's response indicates that she has made efforts to serve Defendant Bell at last known addresses in a few states but has been unsuccessful so far. Plaintiff includes a request for an additional 60 days in which to serve Defendant Bell. The Court is granting this request. If proof of service is not returned by April 3, 2026, Plaintiff's counsel shall file a notice and declaration on the docket detailing the specific efforts made to locate and serve Defendant Bell.
